Multinational application giant Oracle Corporation is deeply dedicated to Israel, its CEO Safra Catz informed reporters Thursday in Tel Aviv.
Oracle employs some 135,000 staff globally, together with some 400 in Israel. Catz was named the company’s co-CEO in 2014 when the company’s Jewish founder Larry Ellison, who is stated as the tenth-wealthiest human being in the environment, stepped down from his position. Since 2019, she has been the company’s sole CEO following her partner Mark Hurd passed absent.
“Larry (Ellison) and I are deeply dedicated to Israel,” Catz said. “We designed an amazing, extremely secured information middle for Oracle Cloud in Israel for the reason that we like Israel and we know the place needs it.”

Creating the data center underground tends to make it impervious to any weapon, Catz noted. “Our new era cloud technological innovation tends to make this achievable,” she said. “In Israel, you can’t retailer these kinds of vital issues above floor, even with backup.”
